Speaking of Amazon deals (can you tell I am a fan?), they currently have an incredible promotion for Pampers diapers through their Subscribe and Save program. Amazon is already a low cost source for disposable diapers (and they offer free 2-day shipping, directly in the manufacturer’s box so there is no additional packaging), but with the extra 30% that can be saved with Subscribe and Save, their prices can’t be beat (even the “Babies ‘R’ Us Buy 9, Get the 10th Free” program can’t compare). If you haven’t tried Subscribe and Save, it is super easy – you sign up for deliveries of goods you use often in advance, and they are delivered to your house on a predetermined schedule set by you (e.g., once a month, once every 3 months). However, the program is flexible and allows you to cancel shipments, move them up, etc. It is particularly useful for those first few months with a newborn when it is difficult to get out of the house. The savings with Subscribe and Save are usually 15% – the 30% is a special promotion and I’m not sure how long it will last. That said, even at the 15% discount, Amazon.com is still the lowest cost provider I’ve found. Diapers.com will match competitor prices but cannot match the special promotional discounts, such as the one currently available via Amazon S&S. Happy diapering!
