tykes on trails

As a new mother, I’m always looking for fun places to take P. We visited a few different spots in recent months (Gymboree Play and Learn, Amy’s Indoor Playground, Zimmer Children’s Museum, Boone Children’s Gallery at LACMA) and I’ll have to remember to post more info on those enjoyable locales. Although P is still too young for most events, I love to read about local baby/toddler/kid-oriented activities and file them away for a later date.  The Tykes on Trails program for 2-4 year olds mentioned at Babyccino Kids sounds like a great way to spend a summer morning. The guided trail walks offered by The Children’s Nature Institute give toddlers a chance to get some exercise and learn about nature with their parents and peers. Offered at various Los Angeles locations; more info here.
